How to Test Characters in Wuthering Waves (Free Trial)

Quick Links

Wuthering Waves offers players a ton of characters to pull from. Ranging from event-exclusive, highly coveted 5-stars to rate-up 4-stars, to completely free 4-stars that can be unlocked by simply playing the game. Swimming in this sea of characters, it can be hard to judge which ones suit a player’s playstyle the most. While browsing tier lists is good for getting an idea of what’s meta in the game, figuring out which characters click with the player is much more important.

The vast majority of content in Wuthering Waves can be cleared using only the free characters and nothing else. This means getting a feel for a character by being able to test it out in-game is more important than any tier list, especially before pulling for someone on a banner. Luckily, Wuthering Waves offers players a way to test-run characters in a controlled environment. Here is how it works.
